I guess a little late is better than never. This post is more or less just an experimental one. Really not much news around here. Amy's back in school but has been fired from her job at the Super Dollar store. Apparently she thought she had been given the time off to visit Julia during Christmas but infact had only requested it, according to her boss. Oh well, maybe now she'll have more time for studying. She does need to bring up her grades. The other bit of news is my up coming job interview for the new Gatorade Bottling plant this Saturday at the Wytheville Community College. Kind of nervous about that but looking forward to rejoining the working class. This retirement stuff is not what its cracked up to be. I'll keep you posted.

Happy new year to everyone out there from everyone over here, too! We will pray for your job interview. I don't think I will ever retire. I got bored over just the week and a half of Christmas break. I ended up raking leaves to keep my sanity.
How did the interview go?
Thanks for asking Luke!
If I could go back and do it again I could probably do better and would feel a lot better about the whole thing. Their were actually two interviews. Each one lasted about 30 minutes. They were conducted in seperate rooms and each with two interviewers. They took turns asking questions. More like an interrogation. They asked me to elaborate about everything from my distant past to the present. I was sweating bullets on the inside but don't think they were reaching the surface. They said they would be contacting me in a couple of weeks.
