Let there be Light!

I got this at Lowes reduced considerably because it was slightly damaged. I had read about similar products before and had given thought to getting one. It really brings a lot of light into a room lacking windows like our bathroom. Even at the original price they cost about as much as a standard window and are much easier to install than cutting a hole in the wall. Though Dawn, being home when I put it in, may have a different opinion about that...;)
You can check out the website at www.sun-tek.com to get a better idea how they work.

Hey Jacob, I have heard of those and they are cool. There is one that's called the SolaTube that seems to be heavily marketed around here. It looks from your picture like it really does bring in a lot of light. I think the idea of using skylights is credited to Thomas Jefferson. Probably if electricity had not come along that would still be the main thing.

Is it in your downstairs bathroom? That means the picture of the silver tunnel is beside the upstairs bedroom, right?

Thanks for the compliments. The attic space you see is beside the upstairs bedrooms.
I have been nervously waiting for it to rain. We finally got some yesterday and no sign of water inside....yet!
