I got this Labrador retriever from someone I work with. He had gotten her a week ago from someone who could not keep her, but he already has seven dogs! We are taking her on a trial basis to see if she will get along with everybody here. We just got her today, but so far she seems to be working out. She is so energetic! What do you think Julia? She is registered and has papers, but I haven't seen them yet. Also wondering how Jacob's new dog is working out?
This family blog continues the one originally started by Luke. It is hoped through the sharing of stories, ponderisms, and pictures of family and events, that this online journal will serve to enhance and nurture our relationship and draw us closer to God and each other as we travel along life's road. Buckle-up!

she's very pretty. Labs are great with kids too! she sounds perfect for you guys.
She is pretty good with the girls but they (like me) are kind of intimidated by her constant licking and breathing on us. She really seems to enjoy being able to run around and I think she'll settle down a bit once she gets some regular exercise. She's been in a very small kennel for most of her life.
Does she have a name?
Casey.
Update on this: Casey has been gone all day and we are fearing the worst but hoping for the best. Virginia and I and Miriam drove around the neighborhood but didn't see her.
well, she is still gone.
Gee, thats too bad. It looks like in the picture she has a tag. Does it have the other owners phone # by chance?
Jake
I put up two signs last night after work and we got a call this morning at about 8 am. She was wandering in the road right by the sign and a man who works in a building at that corner put two and two together and called us. She was less than a mile from here and was fine. We are keeping her tied up for the time being and are glad to have her back!
