To Make






This makes my glands start working just thinking about making it! I Avocadoes are high in fat but it is a good fat and they have so many good qualities.
I am making really just enough for one or two people here with using one. You can tell it is ripe if it gives a little when you press on it, if it is too soft it is over ripe and the green will be brownish inside. A perfectly ripe avocado always reminds me of green butter. I think it is a beautiful color, but then again I like pea soup !
Once I spoon out the inside of the avocado I mash it using a pastry cutter. Then I add about 2 tbsp of minced onion. A little salsa a tbsp of lemon juice and a splash of Texas Pete.
Do you see the little blue vase in the third picture? I have the avocado pit on that to dry. Once it is dry I will pit the pointed side in water and grow a beautiful tree!
