I found three sets of shutters in the trash a few months ago and I've been working to modify them to fit our house which doesn't have any shutters. There were two short sets and one long set. Right now I'm working on one of the short sets.
You can see in this picture how I added a section into the middle of the shutter to make it the right length.
And here is one set almost complete. I added the shutter on the right to show the difference in size between the original shutters and the lengthened ones.
