I had to do a little thinning today so these beets were a little young, but boy were they good. I have a feeling I am going to have to do some more thinning soon. ;)
They are called High Top Early Wonders. Yes they are cooked. I did not peel them though. I just rinsed them real well and twisted the root from the stem and boiled them together for about 30 min. I have some more on the stove right now if you would like to come over!
I just planted some beets last night.I already had the seed and seeing your entry made me plant some. I hope I am not too late! I will have to brag on my potato plants by taking a picture and putting it on today!

Those are cooked, right? Yum Yum I love beet greens...beets are really good too!! What variety did you grow?
