An Old Family Favorite (from the Muppetts Childrens Cookbook)
I made this often during the busy baby years as it was so easy to throw together!
preheat oven to 350
Measure out the following ingredients and dump them together into an ungreased 8 inch square baking pan.
1 C unbleached flour
1/2 C ww flour (or 1 1/2 c white flour if you do not have the above)
1 C applesauce (i blended 2 apples cored and peeled in the blender)
1/2 C brown sugar
1/4 C raisins(optional)
1/3 C oil
1 lg. egg
2 tsp cider vinegar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp apple pie spice(optional)
Mix everything together well. When there are no more lumps put the pan into the oven on the middle shelf.
Bake for 20 minutes.
