I recalled this incident as Isaiah and I were looking at the crawfish. Maybe someone else remembers this if it actually happened. I can remember in Annendale that we had tried to keep a couple of crawfish in the fishtank with the fish. One day we came home and saw them scooting across the livingroom floor and everyone being perplexed as to how they got out.It's not one of those memories that I recall being recounted by other family members. I am pretty sure I remember those guys walking around.I was probobly 3 or 4 so I could have dreamt it up...maybe.
Now that we have found that we can comment using the name button below,I will verify that your good memory is correct,Jacob. You boys did catch many craw fish while we lived in the brick Annandale house.They did escape the aquariam countless times as I remember. Pop put a screen over the large aquarium that had fish ,snails and what ever else you boys caught that day! The craw fish got out every time! We thought they were big ones but nothing like this one here! Pop made a craw fish trap that you boys placed in the creek it worked quit well. That was a creepy creek! I know we saw a copperhead in it and also a snapping turtle. I will try to find a picture of that area and post it.
