This family blog continues the one originally started by Luke. It is hoped through the sharing of stories, ponderisms, and pictures of family and events, that this online journal will serve to enhance and nurture our relationship and draw us closer to God and each other as we travel along life's road. Getting things ready for Christmas sure has been fun. We had a really nice service at Church this evening. Time is flying and it seems like last Christmas was just a few days ago. Looking at the Christmas tree and the few things we have for the kids I remember how amazing Christmas was at our house growing up. Things always seem a little larger when you're a kid but I remember our living room overflowing with presents year after year. As I wrap some presents and try as I might they look so crumpled up when I'm done with them, I remember how beautifully wrapped and labeled all our presents were. Mom did such a good job with that. This has been an especially tough year for me to pull things together. My job has been very time demanding, and this is the first year since we've been married that I haven't done any home-made gifts. But today was a nice day. I made cookies with the girls and we went for a walk and sang Christmas carols. Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. We will see you in the New Year!
