if you let us know asap,Pop can try to get the days off also. My schedule is monthly where is is every two weeks. So I know my days off in advance of him knowing his.

I can't tell. Is Pop really wearing the hat or did you add it in?

I think Dawn already told you but I am off the 20th and 21st as well. If it is Ok with you all we will plan on making it down sometime then.

Yes, I added the hat, by the way Pop has really been sick but has not stayed home from work. He is sick in this picture. He has an abscessed tooth and they are not going to do anything until Jan 4th. He is on pain meds and antibiotics. Then after he started on those(Mon)he started getting a chest cold, this is weird as he rarely gets sick! The dentist told him his immune system may be weak because if the infection. He just came home for lunch and he wanted to take his temp as he feels like he has a fever. We don't have a thermometer that works.
When I told Pop you all were probably coming the 21st,he said they had better get here early because that is the shortest day of the year!

Sorry to hear that, Pop. I have only had one abcessed tooth and that was almost unbearable. I think I would just knock myself out if I had to go through it again. Fortunatley the dentist was able to get me in with just a couple days notice. Short of the vicodin the only way I could find relief was to stick my head in the freezer and pull cold air past the tooth which gave instant but very teporary relief.
Can't you find a dentist who can get you in earlier, even if you had to drive a ways?
I am all for antibiotics when you have a serious reason, such as yours, for them. Everyone here, with the exception of Micah, has more than once used them. It wouldn't suprise me though if they were the reason your body succumbed to the chest cold.
Here is a good product for when you finish the antibiotcs.

There are probably others just as good or better. We have been taking it for several months now and I can't say it has kept us from getting sick but overall I have felt better, especially my stomach.
I know Luke and Sarah have been buying raw milk for a while now. That is probably way better than getting these bacteria from a capsule. I wish we could find a source, but the ones that I have heard of want to charge outrageous prices.

We can probably come Sunday the 20th too.

Antibiotics can really help you when you have an infection(they will kick it out) but we have never believed taking them often(like more than once every two years or less) is a good thing.Too much of a good thing is usually a bad thing! Especially children since their bodies are growing at a rapid rate and need lots of good veggies and fruits every day.

Well now they are saying it is going to snow this weekend! Maybe it will only be a little. We look forward to anyone who can come Sunday or Monday!
