This family blog continues the one originally started by Luke. It is hoped through the sharing of stories, ponderisms, and pictures of family and events, that this online journal will serve to enhance and nurture our relationship and draw us closer to God and each other as we travel along life's road. Buckle-up!
I still haven't figured out the ship & ring puzzle. Did you memorize the sequences for solving or can you just do it on your own? I solved a rubiks cube once by following instructions online, but there are just too many different sequences to remember. Awesome job, Luke!
I'm following the solution shown in this youtube series:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFGQhRmkDy0
Evidently there are a lot of other solutions out there. I made up a cheat sheet to remember the longer moves, but can get pretty far most times without it.
I watched 'em all. Pretty slick. I bet if you really get fast and it doesn't look like you are following memorized algorithm's that it would look really amazing. Have you ever seen any of the championships. I have a hard time believing that those people are following steps, but maybe.
Yes, they are pretty amazing. It looks like anybody taking over 10 seconds to solve is considered pretty lame, unless you're blindfolded, or it's like a 100X100 cube or something.

I always found it much easier to just pick the stickers off and put them on the right side.
