This family blog continues the one originally started by Luke. It is hoped through the sharing of stories, ponderisms, and pictures of family and events, that this online journal will serve to enhance and nurture our relationship and draw us closer to God and each other as we travel along life's road. Buckle-up!
By the way this is Pops foot! He is on crutches,he hurt it on the job just stepping into a pothole in the parking lot of a place where he was making a delivery. It happened last tues.He really has not seen a doctor because he reported it late to work. Long story you will have to call him!
Because I didn't report the incident right away, there was a delay in the workers compensation process. :( I will be seeing a doctor today. Those first few nights were awful, felt like a wild animal was chewing my foot off.
Thanks guys for all the feed back. I just returned home from seeing the doctor. He said it looks like I've torn a couple of ligaments. Should be as good as new in 6 to 8 weeks with a little rest and therapy. As for the pain, it has dropped off to very mild to near non-existent. Oh what a relief that is! BTW, workers comp. is picking up the tab.

This is terrible. So worker's comp will not honor it because he reported it late? That's awful. Sure looks painful.

If workers comp doesn't come through I think I would talk to whoever is responsible for the upkeep parking lot you fell in.
BTW-Are you sure it was a pothole and not a rattlesnake? It really looks painful! Glad to hear you are hopefully getting some relief today.
upkeep (of the) parking lot.....oops
Keep us updated. I'd like to know the diagnosis.
