This family blog continues the one originally started by Luke. It is hoped through the sharing of stories, ponderisms, and pictures of family and events, that this online journal will serve to enhance and nurture our relationship and draw us closer to God and each other as we travel along life's road. Buckle-up!
For some reason the text is missing. Is it just on our end? Looks like you were at a store somewhere when the earthquake hit. I see the ceiling tiles are hanging down.
Disregard the previous comment, I found the text on my "Progress so far" post as a comment. I was at work when the quake hit. Everyone there started talking about how the building shook but I must have been doing something that prevented me from even feeling it. I kind of feel cheated. :(
Yesterday I felt the strangest sensation...like vertigo or something. Felt like I was losing my balance. I was just sitting at my desk and noticed that I couldn't hold still. I almost said something to someone because I thought something was wrong with me. I had never felt anything quite like that before. I quickly dismissed all concern when it stopped after about 20 seconds. Even after I heard about the earthquake, I did not connect the dots until later that evening and figured that must have been what I felt. I am not the only one that felt it here. Others in my building did and the lady on the news last night said she did also.
