This family blog continues the one originally started by Luke. Do you see the cactus? It is some of the cactus that we gave you when you had your tonsils out! I still have some of it now but now that much you see in this pic!
If I am still in college here, (which I think is just a guess, right?), then this would have to be the winter 97/98. Amy would be not quite 8 years old. If it was a later year then I was not in college, but may have been in Mississippi.
Another clue might be the fact that Luke is barefoot. I know he had an apartment with Charlie Garber for a while and then he had the apartment at Gail's farmhouse, but I don't remember the dates. If Luke was just over visiting, I can't imagine that he would be barefoot. Did he come back and stay with you guys for a while? Luke, any input? Can you place a date on this pic?
I think this may have been the month before I went to basic training. I remember sleeping on that cot before and after basic training and this is probably before because my hair is too long to be after. I think what happened was my original "shipping out" date was delayed about a month for some unknown reason. This would have been around September of that year. Probably 1997.

Oh! the framed pic yes that is Jake and Dawn. I am not sure if they were married yet I think that was an engagement picture.

I would say Amy is no more than twelve here so its at least 10 years ago and it sure looks like you guys were still inhabiting this room!
actually Amy looks like she is 8 or 9.
and if the "Shop Clock" on the desk is correct, then this is sometime during the winter. It reads about 5:30 and it is pitch dark outside.

I would say from the shag carpet this would be appear to be about 1960 or 1970.
