Welding Table

I built this table to do some welding on and to get some practice at making good welds.  I started learning to stick weld around October of last year, mostly by watching youtube videos of Chuckee2009.  This is my first real project with the new welder.  Most of the welds were done with 6011 1/8" rods at around 80 amps.

Looks real nice Luke. Always thought that would be a nice skill to learn. You seem to have a real good grasp of it. YouTube is great, isn't it?

That looks like a recycled truck bed!
I like how you did the legs in two pieces so you could find tune the level. I remember mig welding the quarter panels onto my 73 mustang. The guy at carworks auto body ( he used to be where pop bought the Coronet at Reid Chrysler ) showed me how. I only had to do a few little beads. Nothing like what you have done.
Is stick welding the same thing as arc welding?

Thanks guys! I did use a corner of my truck bed to make the table top. I remember the welder you had Jake I think it was a flux core mig. Stick welding is done with rods instead of a spool of wire like the mig and the flux is on the outside of the rods.
