This family blog continues the one originally started by Luke. It is hoped through the sharing of stories, ponderisms, and pictures of family and events, that this online journal will serve to enhance and nurture our relationship and draw us closer to God and each other as we travel along life's road. Buckle-up!
Sounds like a fun goal! I am just now trying to hit the weight I was when Jacob and I got married. Not sure if I will make it, but it is fun trying. As for Jacob, I am trying to put weight on him. I would love it if he gained about 22 pounds ;-) ~Dawn
Thanks for the encouraging words, Dawn. Jake probably will. I think I gained my 22 all in about the last 2 years. I think it's an age thing. Be patient. :)
It's worth a shot, right? I'm not doing anything except monitoring everything I eat and trying my best to keep the calories under a certain amount. So far seems to be working. I am running a 1000 calorie per day deficit right now which means I should theoretically lose about 2 lbs a week. (1 pound of fat is equal to about 3500 calories). That's about as aggressive as the experts recommend. Any more and you will likely experience health problems. I have not experienced anything negative except for feeling hungry sometimes. You were accepted as a friend so you should be able to see my diary including what I've been eating the last 6 days or so. You don't have to share that informtion with anyone if you don't want to, though, on your own account.

Sounds like fun but if I lost any more weight I might blow away.
what???Justin you are not fat at all??? Just ride your bicycle!
I'm not trying to lose a bunch of weight. Just getting back to what I used to weigh. Just to see if I can do it. I'm not being crazy about it.

I need to lose the weight. I don't know if what you are doing would work for me, Justin. I could stand to lost at least 20 pounds.
