This is the BushHog I've been working on. It was rusted all the way through on the top when I started. I cut all the old plate out and welded in new top plate. Worked on painting it last week. The paint is not quite done in this picture, but you get the idea.

Whoa! Thats incredible. Looks as good as new. Have you hooked it up and tried it out since the restoration?
I have used it. It does seem to work better, probably more because I sharpened the blades and put new grease in the gearbox than because of the new paint though. It cuts real nice, just like a giant lawn mower.
I was going to call you today Luke to wish you a happy birthday but just looked at the clock and its after 10 already so i'm thinking its probably too late. Oh well, hope you had a happy b-day anyways. Love you son and have a good night.
