I thought it was sort of poetic. "Man who was blue...dead at 62". Someone needs to write some more verses.

How about "He wasn't that bad of a guy...at least he was better than a stick in the eye"

I bought a bottle of colloidal silver back around 1999 or 2000. It was a small bottle and cost alot, but the contents looked and tasted just like plain old water. I had heard it recommended by a radio doctor and he seemed to think that silver and other mineral deficiency was the cause of all the modern ailments that had begun to plague people in the 20th century. His basic argument was that early man ate a diet that was richer in minerals because his food was wild or at least not cultivated in the same place over and over again. Since plant growth doesn't require anything but a few basic minerals, that's usually all farmers put back in the soil, i.e. usually nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Virgin soil has the basic minerals but also alot of micronutrient minerals which are absorbed by the plants and depleted but which are almost never replaced by the farmer. These are things like zinc, copper, iron, and silver, and alot of others. So basically, it follows that a modern diet would be more deficient in the micro minerals than an ancient diet, and so the doctor advocated the supplements. I didn't notice any effect from taking the colloidal silver, and I didn't turn blue, but I wouldn't buy it again.
