Winning Dumpster Dive

Here is my latest project. I was able to salvage this from a dumpster outside my office window. It is in great shape except for being very much splattered with concrete. I have been slowly disassembling and soaking the pieces in vinegar. It's a slow process, but you can see the results in the last pic. I'll definitely be sanding and painting the handles and I think I may prime and paint the rest of it when I am done, but I'm not sure yet. The brand name is Jackson. Look them up. It costs around $200 new. Sophie is always my helper on my projects. She just loves to be involved.

Didn't see your post until tonight,Feb.13th nice find there Justin. I never knew vinegar could remove concrete. Can't wait to see it when you're finished. Where's Sophie?

Yeah, I didn't know it either. Amazing what you can learn on the internet, right? Sophie will be in one of my later pics. I think I'm going to give her rides in it when it is done. :)

Finished up removing the concrete residue from all removed pieces before going to bed last night. Still need to sand the handles and work on cleaning up the main tub.

I think you children all had rides in our wheelbarrow as children! Pop loves giving Chase rides even still.I am looking forward to the finished product with Sophie getting a ride. Now that you have your own property you will find this very useful!
