This family blog continues the one originally started by Luke. It is hoped through the sharing of stories, ponderisms, and pictures of family and events, that this online journal will serve to enhance and nurture our relationship and draw us closer to God and each other as we travel along life's road. Buckle-up!
They don't do 3-d that I know of and even if they did the insurance probably would not pay for it. I looked into how much it would cost to have it done privately, but it's around $100-$200 and the closest location to us is St. Paul Minnesota which is like a 4 hour drive from us. Would be cool, though. Did you have that done?
yeah I had it done. it is so cool I can really tell what he's doing and everything. Isn't it wierd that little old culpeper hospital does 3-d imaging. How do you post pictures on here anyway? do I need a scanner?
I think that is neat that you got to have the 3-d done.
Unless you already have the pictures in digital format, you will need to scan them in somehow. I think Mom sometimes takes pictures of pictures with her digital camera. That seems to work ok too.
Justin, maybe its just me but I can't tell from the pictures much of anything or whats what. The pic on the bottom kind of looks like a three cylinder motorcycle engine to me. I remember the ones that your mother had taken years ago. They were about the same quallity. Guess they haven't improved much in the last thirty years.
They aren't the greatest, but I thought they were clear enough. The bottom picture has an "H" and a "C" to mark head and chest. I thought the face was pretty cool. They have advanced quite a bit, but it comes down to what insurance will pay for and what they won't, I guess.
I think the pictures turned out clear. The first 2 are great. I LOVE the profile one! I am so excited for you all. You are always in my prayers. If it means anything, Jacob could never tell anything from looking at my ultrasound pictures. To me they were so clear but to him and other people it was so hard to make out. Love, Dawn
The only sonogram I ever had was for Paula. I don't really remember why but it was new technology and Pop and I thought it would be interesting to see our baby in the womb. We didn't want to know the sex, though. Anyway it wasn't 30 years ago it was 20.
