This family blog continues the one originally started by Luke. It is hoped through the sharing of stories, ponderisms, and pictures of family and events, that this online journal will serve to enhance and nurture our relationship and draw us closer to God and each other as we travel along life's road. Buckle-up!
Thats going to really look good when its finished, Jacob. Adds a touch of class and makes a good splash barrier for damage control. The little white circles are holding the tiles in place while the adhesive dries, right? And then you apply the grout. Theres a great website for some good tips if you're interested. Looks excellent Jake. In regards to your computer question, again I think that the memory will help. It may not make the internet any faster as dialup will always be kind of slow, but it will surely help applications that are not internet dependent run faster and you will be able to run several at the same time without any trouble. I was wrong about the 256 meg minimum though. Seems that 64 meg is the bare minimum for XP and 128 is recommended. Still, more is always better. If the only real irritation that you have now is the slow upload time, I don't think I would bother with the extra memory. It will not improve the connection speed. Thanks for the chat. It was fun.
I did buy a tile cutter but it self-destucted on the first tile I cut. I ended up taking it back to Lowes and they gave me 10% off the better one.I told them with all the trouble of coming back I should be given more off, but they didn't seem to share my view.I'll probobly just clean it up and take it back anyway. I did finish all the tile today. I'll have to wait 24 hours to grout it though. It didn't turn out to bad but I can see where a wet saw would really make a difference when you need to cut small pieces and angled cuts.

That's nice Jacob. Looks like you're doing a professional job. Did you buy one of those tile cutters?
