Isaiah and Belle were very excited that they found this lizard today. When they brought it in even Jonah liked it:) They found it early this morning and (thankfully) they have let it go this evening. The poor skink lost most of his tail during the kid's pursuit though! Good thing it will grow back:) It amazes me how a little lizard can keep the kids so excited and busy for an entire day. I am also going to post a current picture of Jacob's garage. He really is doing a awesome job! Anyway, hope everyone is having a great day!
This family blog continues the one originally started by Luke. It is hoped through the sharing of stories, ponderisms, and pictures of family and events, that this online journal will serve to enhance and nurture our relationship and draw us closer to God and each other as we travel along life's road. Buckle-up!

At first I thought that skink had two heads! The garage looks really good. Are those 2X6's in the frame? You must be planning on using this as a bomb shelter as well as a garage.
Jake, all I can say is "WOW!!" for how good it looks and also how fast it seems to be progressing. Did you take time off from work to do this? Did you get the plans made up at Lowe's or did you draw them up yourself? You may be in the wrong profession. Seems to me you could be a building contractor.
I ordered the plans off the internet from a guy in Williamsburg VA. I made quite a few changes to them though. Using 2 x 6's in place of 2 x 4's was one of the changes. All the lumber came from our local mill here in Madison I just happend to be at Lowes when I got the house wrap, Justin. My plan is to use this as a shop to try to generate a part time income working with wood. I dont know exactly what yet..maybe bunkbeds, Mom. :)
